Apocalyptic

Apocalyptic

• The Vibe: Survival under extreme pressure. The world has ended due to a virus, nuclear war, or cosmic disaster, and resources like food, ammo, and medicine are critically scarce.
• Gameplay Impact: Mechanically, these games rely heavily on desperation, attrition, and frantic resource management. You are constantly fending off waves of predictable but overwhelming enemies while your characters face permanent injury or death.
• Example Board Games: Zombicide, Dead of Winter, Dawn of the Zeds, Posthuman Saga, Maximum Apocalypse
