Push Your Luck Games:
• The Mechanism: A high-risk, high-reward loop where players can repeatedly take actions to gain more points, but face an increasing mathematical chance of losing absolutely everything if they go too far.
• Gameplay: You perform an action—like drawing a token from a bag or rolling a die—and receive a small reward. The game asks: Do you want to stop and lock in your points, or go again? If you keep going and pull a bad token or roll a bad symbol, you “bust,” ending your turn immediately and forfeiting everything you earned that round. It creates loud, dramatic moments of cheers and groans around the table.
