Cooperative Games:
• The Mechanism: All players unite as a single team working together to defeat an automated game system, winning or losing collectively.
• Gameplay: The game board acts as an active artificial intelligence, spreading diseases, spawning monsters, or triggering disasters at the end of every player’s turn. Players must talk out loud, share resources, coordinate their unique character abilities, and plan steps ahead to put out fires before the game triggers an immediate loss condition.
